Why Just Offer Reviews?

Why do so many people create these tiny review sites for their affiliate products? I believe that the best way to make sales is to offer high quality and build relationships. Why don't more people create a site aimed at their audience centered around a blog, put an opt-in form there, and then have the reviews on the other pages? You can even set it up to where you have a link to your review pages at the end of each post.

There's nothing wrong with that approach! The reason why so many go the route of the mini site approach is to capitalize on the existing traffic surrounding the plethora of product keyword phrases out there and quickly scale up....Many ways to skin a cat!

Many people would rather just go after the buyer traffic
than invest time and money in creating an authority site.

There's nothing wrong with doing either.

I like to have a few authority sites that I invest lots of time
and money into that pay off big and also lots of little
mini sites that pay less but I have more of them.

I agree with you. We as affiliates need to spend time and create good reviews that are aimed at helping customers and not just for the quick buck. People nowadays are very careful with their spending habits and are taking the time to research before they spend. SO its a good idea to start taking a few more hours to get some properly done product reviews.
