Anyone know good IM products to sell to Indian buyers?

Hi everyone,

I have a directory site with 3,500 uniques per month, 90% from India (mostly directory submitters from what I can gather).

Anyone have success selling IM products to (a) Indian buyers in general or (b) directory submitters from India?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    Same situation here.

I have a Pligg site which has a high Alexa rating in India , I presume from pligg submitters. Not sure though if they are using software.

I just have Adsense there, and I get some clicks

How about creating your own products and price it according to Indian economy? A $97 product selling well in US doesn't make sense when it comes to Indian market mainly because of the difference in economy. You need to consider the avg income of the target market. So if you can use your own products (or MRR) then tweak the price accordingly and sell it...

+1 that. Though the Indian market is tight(er), you can still do well if you do your math.

For indians, You should target employment or finance or technology related products as tons of indians are either looking for a job change or are trying to bring something new to their finance knowledge as well as c++, java and technology related stuff.

I had a employment guide specially for indian students and my conversions were really good!!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to say thanks for your replies and ideas. I liked the idea of an employment guide and selling products on programming and employment guides. I have adsense too and get some clicks but I'm looking to step it up a bit.

I'll have to check out some offers related to those areas and test them out. Thanks again and have a good one!
