And you need to have a good sales funnel, OTO offer, offers on thank you page, follow up emails to make a good ROI but make sure you soft sell with good quality content because people have become smart and are fed up of every other email being a promotional mail trying to sell them stuff.

Try to get them on different lists. The ones that pay for something and the ones that don't.

Say if you get a 3% conversion rate you need 165,000 visitors. Solo ads are a good start but you need excellent sales copy for the email because:

1) They have to open the email
2) They have to click through
3) they then have to convert

It would all really depend on the niche relevancy, responsiveness of the list and quality of your sales copy.

Work backwards from the figure that you're looking for, and work out how much traffic you'll need to generate in 30 days to gain 5k subs, even at 10% sign up conv rate you'll need 50,000 targeted visitors. So it's not an achievable goal if you have no concept of how you're going to generate the traffic.

The easiest way would be to do a JV with someone who has a big list already - but if you don't already know someone who has a great list, then this isn't easy either.

Personally, I would think about a more achievable goal, aim for 5k subs over a longer period of time, especially since you're wanting to make money from the list as you're building it - this is a tall ask within a short period of time, unless you just happen to know someone who has a great list and you can offer something of real value to their subscribers.

There is no such thing as 5000 subscribers when you are building a list. You have to answer the above question to the satisfaction of 5000 REAL PEOPLE to get 5000 people on your list.

Launching a 100% commission product: Creating a product, and finding affiliates who will promote for you can potentially help you build a massive list very fast, especially if you have an exit offer that redirects to your squeeze page. You better have some money to invest to throw at some solo ads, and really know what your doing. 5000 subs in 30 days is a tough challenge, unless you have the money to invest in solos like stated above.

What you will need?


1. Good squeeze page
2. Lots of traffic directed at that squeeze page
3. Finally a good offer people actually want.

It appears to me what you are wanting is to make $1000 in 30 days as the final goal, not the number of subscribers.

You can absolutely make that amount even in under 30 days depending on your product or service and your squeeze page or promotion.

For example: You figure out what your goal is $1000. Then you find something to sell to get what your profit will be on that. I have one product that my commission is $2000. So if I sell one, I have made twice what you are wanting. Then you figure out how to get traffic to that offer, how the conversions go and get it.

I have another offline client that pays $100 a lead and $250 a client. 4 sales and I have $1000.

If you sell something that pays you $17 immediately via paypal, you need 58 sales. If you can afford some PPV at .015 cents and it converts at .05 then it would take $17.40 in PPV to make 58 sales and make $1000. If you just bought really cheap traffic for 1000 for $1 that only converts at .002 then it would cost you $29 to make that much.

There are many, many examples. It depends on the product you are selling, the type of traffic, how well your squeeze page converts. etc.

It most definitely can be done. It will just take some testing. Or find out directly from someone who is already doing it but most of those people will charge you for the detailed information.

A fast way to build your list is using PPC and different squeeze pages. You'll get a quality list this way but the cost may be a problem for some.

Hey Avanyx, good luck with your goal. I am wanting to start building a list too and found some useful info here. I still have some more learning to do though before I just start investing in email marketing. I'm sure you'll figure out a way. Just keep at it.

solo ads, yes... if you can get JV's to mail that is fast too...

However, you'll need to make sure you split test everything, subject lines for open rates, emails for clicks and ethical bribe to get them to actually take action.

Put some thought into the ethical bribe :-)

You might have to be willing to invest quite a bit of money to reach 5,000 subscribers in 30 days.

before going for that number make sure you test everything like a lot! and yes you probably want to spend money on solos.

Just a thought for you, if you have an item to give away, thats of value to the target audience, I've had some very decent information from a group of marketers who tie in together JV style and between them have a massive number of unique subscribers.
