Need Your Bad Experiences

I am launching a new site shortly that will match marketers with copywriters.

Similar to elance but copywriters must qualify to participate so you eliminate people who speak english as a 14th language.

What are some of the issues you have had with copywriters in the past?

Can you share them?

If the copy did not convert, did you use the copy exactly as submitted or did you make changes?

Were there any payment issues?

Deadline issues?

What kind of protection for you the client would you like to see?

This is to help create a site that benefits everyone.

    Yep. Used it exactly as submitted. My own converted much better, and I'm not a copywriter, nor have I ever claimed to even pretend to be one. Go figure.

    I'd like to see a rating system. One where negative reviews as well as positive could be posted.

    There are a couple of ways the client could be protected financially, but they may be troublesome to administer. An escrow system for the final payment would probably be the easiest to manage.
