Solo Ads: Does The List Owner Write The Ad?

I'm looking into solo ads and was wondering if the buyer provides the ad copy or if the list owner writes the copy and just promotes your product and link?

I've never personally known an instance where the list owner writes the ad. They buyer usually writes it and the the list owner approves it before mailing it to their list.

At least this way, the customer can't blame the list owner's email writing skills for the reason why their campaign failed.

Maybe there are some solo ad providers that write the email for you and then get you to accept it but I can't say I've ever seen it done that way.

It totally depends.Usually you have to provide the ad that the list owner will send. Many of them though have great experience and know their list better than you, so sometimes maybe they will propose something to you.

The one thing you have to keep in mind when dealing woth solo ads is the conversions.Write a nice ad and you ll get some clicks.Write a superb ad and you will have awesome conversions!

    Good luck!

    Cheers

I've never heard of a list owner writing the ad either unless they are an affiliate and pushing the product for their own benefit. If you are just buying or trading space, though - it's on you.

    Hi Tony,
Some list owners only require your tracking link, others will expect you to provide the text.

For solo ads I've purchased, I've always written the ads myself. The list owner pre-approves it and sometimes asks for modifications (if any).

This is a task you must do yourself if you want your solo ad to be highly optimized to exactly the type of leads you'd want

Speaking of solo ads, where would I find people who are accepting solo ads in the IM beginner niche? I have yet to try solo ads

Usually when you promote a product for a company, they provide you with an email that can convert most of the readers into BUYERS. Check their site up and see if they provide it or not.

I recently purchased a WSO here and am going through the guy's training plus will be an affiliate promoting his product. He's got a couple of sample email content for the autoresponder AFTER a person joins your list but I don't see anything for promoting the offer. I'll have to see if he can provide that. Thanks.
