marketing strategy for a party supply store

Hi all,

I have been given the assignment to create a marketing campaign for a party supply store (think Party City or the like) and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to better market such a business? Any ideas with new good? New services... ?

    That would really depend on what exactly they are wanting you to market, more details would be helpful. For starters, are they wanting you to market their store online to attract local customers or are they wanting you to market their website for sales they can ship?

    ... that makes us Direct Competitors lol, good luck with your endeavors. However, we killed it last year so unless this guy is paying you $7X,XXX to market his store, get out and market your own party supply affiliate store...

    You would do well if you research about your target audience. Typically most teenagers are the party goers, and their demands are what you have to meet! By that I could say the internet is your best choice as a lot of teenagers use the internet today especially through social media inlets.

    If you can't even remember the name of your client I guess you are probably not the best candidate for a marketing campaign.

    And if you can't even come up with a marketing strategy how did you happen to get the assignment?

    Or is this some kind of trick question?
