Is US$ cheap to UK advertisers?

I just got contacted by a UK seo firm. I do SEO in MD (well now it's east coast, I'm growing)

They have a client who wants to buy a text link from one of my sites.

OK, sounds good... now how much do I charge?

I'm not gonna reveal who or how much, but it ocurred to me that since he's paying in US dollars, might I be able to get a tiny bit more if those dollars are cheap (to him)?

Am I making sense here?

The fellows offer sounds reasonable, do I have any wiggle room due to the exchange rate? enough for me to get a bit extra?

I live in the UK and US$ are relatively very expensive right now. The exchange rate only 6 months ago was around 2 US$ to the GBP. The rate is now closer to 1.5 US$ to the GBP. This is a good thing for me because I get a lot more pounds for the $'s I earn but purchasing in $'s is now expensive.

I'll accept what he offered as it was reasonable.

It was interesting to have his email come just as I was getting off the phone with a local radio station who wanted to talk about advertising... they wanted to know if I wanted to purchase ads and we ended up discussing a partnership or a bundling of what we offer. (all their advertisers need my SEO services)
