Into google by purely content

If yo would build a site wut great great great content and only that, zero backlinks! Could ou reach google page 1?

    But I think that is what Google is pushing for.

      I think what google is pushing is a return to the normal growth of backlinks. If you have a well built site with a lot of excellent, relevant, unique content and a handful of decent backlinks from related sites in the niche....backlinks will grow as more people send others to your site because it's a worthwhile site to visit.

      Google will see a gradual increase in activity and the site will begin to move up. The more it moves up, the more the activity and the more backlinks it gets. When you allow a site to gain rank without trying to push and shove it into place...it is more likely to hold the higher ranking once it earns it.

      But - that takes time and effort and most IMers are in a hurry:p
