Not Enough Data on keyword not worth to bid for PPC

Hello there,

Running some keyword phrases on Google AdWords Keyword tool. If a phrase come up with Approx Search Volume of "not enough data" would you not even bother bidding on that phrase? It's showing up but my guess it's search volume is too small to register. Is that correct?

Thanks
Alan

My experience is that if it is a "buying" keyword, AND it strongly relates to a product you have, AND your landing page can be optimized for it, AND your ads can be optimized for it, then go ahead and bid on it.

Low competition = Low CPC = more likely to profit even if fewer sales.

Some keywords I really like (product model numbers, SKUs, that kind of thing), won't work because they're not searched on enough. So AdWords won't even let me enter those ads. <cry> I suppose they know best, though.
