How to collect emails from customers?

I know how to use aweber and collect emails on a squeeze page but I haven't found out how to collect emails from customers.

So, how do you collect them? Like when an affiliate brings people to your sales page and people buy the product, how do I collect the email? Does payment processors support aweber integration, so that they will have to provide their email during the purchase?

    Most good payment processors have the option for integration into an auto responder. You can also do this with wishlist or amember if you like.

    Hi Quahas,

    Noting that you mention Aweber twice, I guess you use them?

    If so...good, because you can get a Paypal app to capture names and email addresses from purchasers. You simply set up a new list and they get put in there (if they agree to it).

    Essentially, go into Aweber home and click on 'My Apps', then App showcase..then follow instructions...

    Very useful tool, phew ...all those lost purchasers...argh!

    If you are using aweber (and it seems so) you can use very convenient paypal app to
    integrate with autoresponder, in which case buyers get on your list.

    Not sure if other autoresponder services offer similar integration, but one other option
    is to send them to the custom "Thank you page" after purchasing and offer unannounced
    bonus for signing up.
