Clickbank Approval Questions.

Hello Everyone,

I know this is the right site to ask..but I'm not sure if this is the "right" category to post this in...but I recently made my first product submission to clickbank and they responded with the following 2 questions.

1. Information provided on your sales and pitch page refer to a person by the name of Roger. Can you please explain whom Roger is and what relationship they have to you?

2. Please verify that the sales letter on your pitch page is completely factual.

Do they just need an "explanation" of the named person and for me to awknowledge that everything is factual??

Thanks for all feedbacks!

Are we to assume, that you aren't Roger?

If "Roger" is a pen-name which you've used to describe yourself, then they'll want to know that whatever you've attributed to Roger is true of yourself, and they'll require you to disclose somewhere that "Roger" is a pen-name. I think.

They're covering themselves, in case the FTC wants to know that they've taken "reasonable steps to verify the representations made" on the sales page. Or something very like that. Is my guess.

When people buy ClickBank products, they buy them from ClickBank, not just through Clickbank, and not from the vendor. ClickBank isn't just a payment processor. It's actually a retailer, so it has some responsibility for the representations made on sales pages.

    Good to see this.

Now If only they'd implement a more intelligent refund/dispute system.
