Sub Ids For Landing Pages
PPC gurus,
I am trying to understand how to setup my affiliate website so that I can tell when I make a sale from a PPC keyword or from natural SEO. How would I go about doing this?
I have read that I might need to use subids for the PPC keywords and then use a redirect script on the wp-config.php file. From here, I would need to create redirect pages for each product. Finally, change the links on each product to refer back to these redirect pages. Is this correct process or is there an easier way out there?
Is there any software out there that can control this whole process or will I have to do the above? Also, how will the tracking be able to distinguish whether it was a PPC click or a natural SEO visit?
