What is a good copy writing book to read?

Something that will help me in my conversions anyhow!

Hi Ponty,

The book I've gotten the most from is How To Write A Good Advertisement by Victor Schwab.

It's straightforward, easy to absorb and instantly helps you understand what your aims should be when writing copy.

In addition to Schwab's book, you may also fill your cart at Amazon by picking up books from Ogilvy, Caples, Sugarman, and Kennedy. For more advanced books (after you have a handle on the basics) check out Robert Collier and Eugene Schwartz.

I'd suggest:

Influence: The Psychology of Persuation - Robert Cialdini
That will give you a thorough understanding of how to communicate with your target audience.

Web Copy That Sells - Maria Veloso
A well written guide to web based copywriting based on sound psychological principles.

"Triggers" by Joe Sugarman is gold.

Also, "Words the Sell" by Richard Bayan should be on every copywriter's shelf

And the Dan Kennedy book about sales letters is excellent too.
