A newbie looking for honest reviews

Hello,

I am new to warriorforum.com and wish to introduce myself and explain where I would like to go in life.

I am from North West Florida and am finally starting to regain control of my life after the devastating April 20, 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill. It has taken my wife and I almost 2 years to the day to get back on our feet. We literally lost everything as we owned two brick and mortar businesses that relied heavily on tourism and not so much local business traffic.

Having said this, here is what I have learned and hopefully someone can benefit from what I am saying.

When you have a brick and mortar business, you are stuck in one location, relying on a limited traffic source. For the past 2 years of research and word of mouth I have determined that Internet Marketing is obviously the smartest, most lucrative way to increase the thickness of one's wallet.

I worked for the past 2 years paying off every single solitary dime I owed to anyone and vowed to my wife and children that we would never be in debt again.

Now that we are debt free, we are very conscious of where every dime goes and we think twice about spending as you honestly do not know where or when the next disaster could strike. No one ever thought that we could have a disaster like the one that occurred April 20, 2010.

I would like to use the guidance of the warriorforum.com to assist and to be smart about how to make money online using IM techniques.

I have tried to find out about two products and have not had success. Please chime in with your thought of the following products:

mobileblogx DOT com/go

I watched the entire video here:
gowebevent DOT com/MMMWebinar/index DOT php

The other product I am interested in is:

wealthyaffiliate DOT com

I would like an honest review of the above two products before I spend 1 red cent.

Also, please send me a direct message or an email if you know of another product that might help me get started.

My ultimate goal is to achieve auto pilot status with whatever product I decide to use, so that I could setup the product within a corporation or trust fund. I say this because if something were to happen to me my family would still have some sort of reliable income. We learned a valuable lesson with the oil spill. The lesson was to not have all your eggs in one basket.....

Thank you all in advance and I look forward to your honest reviews!!

I posted the links above in the manner because:

Wealthy Affiliate is probably your best bet, with the Warrior forum.

I have used Wealthy Affiliate myself, but its mainly for people that want to do blogs and article marketing type of stuff. Although the resources are top quality and you get help from all members involved.

Welcome to the Warrior Forum my friend.

I have 3 comments regarding this-

    1) There's a section of the forum specifically for these types of reviews, found here: Internet Marketing Product Reviews & Ratings

    2) The search function is probably your best tool for finding what you need :-)

    3) I got started at WA, its a good program for beginners but also fairly expensive. You can learn a lot of what they have to offer here on the WF for free.

    Good luck!

regarding mobileblogx I just watched their phony webinar that was recorded 4 or 5 months ago (they want to make you think its live while watching)

it seems to have some good points and unbelievably they give away alot of the information...the product they are pushing is the software to make the process faster.

I would have a real hard time paying a "Non refundable" $997 to purchase any kind of turnkey system especially since several months or years from now it will become over crowded most likely and then the sites used in the system (like you tube) will discover whats going on and change the algorithms.

I did like the you tube strategy they discussed, and if it doesnt get abused there could be alot of opportunity. its all based on paying high view video owners to place your link under their video and then driving relevant traffic to your blog or affiliate link.

Maybe some will think it's the best thing ever, but I'm not overly impressed by the sales page for: Mobile Blog X

I can't help but wonder just how important a product is, to product owners, if they can't update something as simple as this: XMAS SPECIAL ONLY $997!

    ....it's currently March....

    Hey, welcome.

Personally I was a member of Wealthy Affiliate for a while. Never found the training to be very good.

I prefer Affiliorama. That's a more complete membership site. The training is a lot more professionally done, as opposed to some random stuff uploaded by members of the site.

Hi there and welcome to the forum.

It sounds like you have had a tough time of it lately.

Regarding your IM journey you need to treat it like any other venture in life.
If you were going to set up a "normal" business you would;-

        1) Look at what you are actually interested in as if you are going to spend a big chunk of your life doing it you need to enjoy it.
i.e. in IM if you hate writing why would you go into Article marketing, dont go into a niche that has no interest whatsoever for you as you will get bored and it will become a chore, first try to find a niche that you like and you would be happy to spend time researching and writing about ( or making Videos etc) Later on you could outsource most of the work so then you would be looking at the Niche from a market potential point of view and not from your interest point of view.

        2) Look at your skill set and from the above work out what you need to learn and focus on this part of the learning process
In IM you can get swamped with Information overload and be paralysed in the learning curve without actually taking any action.

        3) Have a Plan - you would never set up a bricks and mortar business without doing exhaustive planning.
IM is just the same - try to get a project plan together and set your set some meaningful goals and targets (make them realistic no point in beating yourself up)

Regarding the WA programme I have done this in the past and it is good solid information, I would steer well clear of "push button" systems or make a Million overnight programmes - use your own judgement and also look in the product revues section before buying anything. It has saved me a fortune since being a member here.

Good luck on your journey and if you ever need any help just drop me a PM

        Cheers
        Mark
