I know that there are a lot of niches all over the web you can choose but there are also a lot of internet marketers too, would every niche not get saturated as there is always going to be big internet marketers already on them?

I believe you can make money even in the most competitive niches if you are creative in your marketing strategies.

I agree with mjb13815, though I'd also like to add that with really big niches (e.g. health and fitness, marketing) there are always new developments being made so there are practically endless opportunities for individuals to jump in and start earning. If you're smart with your methods and are constantly releasing valuable information/content/whatever, you can still compete with bigger internet marketers.

There exist some niches that have no competition, but they are very rare. If you do enter into a niche where there's some competition, just market as normal. Put up a squeeze page, generate leads, and market to them continuously.

competition means there is money in that niche. Go for longer tail kw's to start and slowly build to highly competitive kw's, this is the name of the game

Every niche can be tapped into. Most people just copy what others are doing and that's why they fail.

You need to attain an "abundance mindset," yes, you should try to find the least competitive niches with the highest profit, however, competition should never be looked at as a substantial obstacle.

No such thing as saturation if you are creating good products/services.

A market can only be saturated with rubbish products.

Just have a look at the WSO forum. Many products there but only a few sub-niches of IM. These products sell because:

    1) People buy repeatedly (including successful IM'ers)
    2) There is a constant flow of new people entering a market at any one time.

I don't think so because when you do it right and find a profitable niche, there will always be more buyers that sellers (or promoters in this case). Competition means that there is a market for something. Working in a highly-competitive niche just means that there are more opportunities to make money -- due to the fact there are more products to promote and what not. All you have to do is "get your foot in the door," so to speak. Think of it this way. It's easier to get a small pie of a large pie than get a piece of something that's barely there.

    Good luck,
    Joey

Certainly there is a great deal of competition out there, especially for the most popular niches. However, with so many people in this world and so much money being spent online each and every day, there is always the potential to make money in any niche if you are able to get people to come to your site.

I don't think so. There are billions of ideas out there that can be markets, in some way or another. Internet Marketers can't cover and saturate them all. Some niches are more saturated than others, but it's because those niches are considered more profitable or higher converting, or another reason that drives people to them.

It's possible to over saturate a niche, especially if it's a small one. But every niche? I don't think so.

One lesson I learned early on was to NEVER worry about the saturation of a niche.

      Like someone stated earlier...

The more saturated it is...the more customers and buyers there likely will. Which leads to bigger profits.

Remember you don't have to rank #1 on Google to drive traffic to your site. Generate leads and convert them into list subscribers.

Be honest with your list. Gain their trust. Give them quality content. Promote quality products.

      The sales will come.

      Best of luck!

In my opinion, there won't be too much competition as a barrier for your entry into the market.

Take weight loss for example - there are always going to be people who are skinny and then put on weight, there will be those that are already overweight and either lose the weight and put it back on or keep it off forever.

Whilst all this is happening, the population is also fluctuating - people "come and go" in this world which means even more people who have a hard time losing weight.

There will always be people who don't want to go with the 'mainstream products', who want to shop online, who need personal trainers, who would rather do it themselves etc.

I haven't even taken into account the countless amounts of people who 'retire' and live off the money they've made - leaving even more room for you to compete.

So you see, even though this is only ONE example of quite a large market (since I haven't actually narrowed it down) the opportunity for saturation is almost minimal - as new methods and technology for weight loss become available almost daily.

As they say - 'there's a sucker born everyday'. (Take the notion of that quote without the negative connotations associated with it as a means of trying to explain myself.)
