Finding the Most Trafficked Forums in Your Niche

Is there a resource that allows you to easily find the most trafficked items in your niche?

Or is a basic Google search, click and count process?

    You could type in "niche forum" into Google and then just go through as many pages as you can.

    You could also just ask other people in your niche if they know of any.

    I use alexa.com to find the most trafficked forums. There is other sites but alexa.com is good enough.

    To get the sites to enter into alexa, just do a search in Google using your root keyword with the word "forum" in it.

    So your keyword would look like:
    Keyword forum

    Here's a few more example:
    Fishing forum
    bodybuilding forum
    weight loss forum
    Underwater basket weaving forum (Not niche, full of hungry buyers looking for baskets to weave under water

    Then enter each home domain into Alexa from the first page of results and see what gets the most traffic.

    Normally, you'll find that one forum gets the lion's share of the traffic... And that my friend, is the one you wanna hang out at

    As it goes I made a video of it. It basically outlines what I said above plus some additional tips what to do once you're "hangin' out" at your forum.
