Optimize Press - Thank you / Download Page

Hi.
I use Optimize Press as the template for my website.
I have an Ebook.
I want to sell it on Clickbank...
everything is finished except the Thank You / Download page.

I am frustrated because I am trying to learn how to use Filezilla (FTP)
to upload my ebook to the download/thank you page...

but I was wondering if there was some easier way to do this.

If there is please explain. Thanks.

Filezilla really isn't that hard to use. You simple connect to your host with the FTP information you get in your CPanel and drag and drop files.

When you connect to your hosting server you will see all your folders and files just place your new files in the relevant folders.

from the wordpress media area just upload it that way....You will get a link from it (if you have it in a pdf) just post the link on a download page (I also would make it pop open in a new window)

This way they just click a link on the page and there you go. They are in the guide. Also they could just right click the link to save the guide

You don't always need FileZilla to upload files. You can use your Webhost's interface to upload your files. If you use a popular host like hostgator or bluehost, you can chat with their rep online and get the exact steps.

You dont need Filezilla to uppload your ebook to your site. Just use the media uploader built in to the Wordpress and it will do the work for you.

I use Optimizepress for my sites and getting your PDf on the site is easy.there are two ways you can do it.
      1) use the wordpress media upload utility. When you have uploaded your pdf go into the media library and find the pdf. Click on the edit link below the PDf listed and then at the bottom you will see a URL link. Copy and paste this link into your download page and when clicked it will open the PDF

      2) use Filezilla - go to your cpanel and get the FTP settings. set thes up in Filezilla and then connect to your site. You will see a listing of all your folders and files on your site on the right hand side. Create a new folder on your site and drag the PDF into this folder. then you can right click on the PDf in that folder and get the url link. Same again copy and paste this into your download page

I have a Video on my site that shows you how to do this using filezilla and wordpress.

In the Optimize Press post box, you can see the tiny button to insert the 'download' button, insert that and put a link on it to your PDF (drag it to wherever you want on your FTP)

There have to be thousands of YouTube videos showing you how to use Filezilla. If you're stuck you should be specific about where, otherwise you will come across as someone who isn't searching for his own answers very hard.
