I was just curious if there was anyone else doing like I'm doing and combining offline and internet marketing together? Such things as using offline methods to sell internet based affiliate products or promote CPA offers. If so, what are you doing and how has it been working out for you? |

I am starting to do it. I have built my skills (got certification) in Search engine Marketing and in driving traffic through Social Media marketing, article writing etc. Then i have built skills to build websites for small businesses and up sell internet marketing services. I have just started contacting and talking to local businesses trying to figure out what would be a good strategy. My take is it will be better to offer a very nice website at extremely low price with hosting and e-mail thrown in. Get them going and seeing some traffic and then graduate them into Direct Response web sites and more. Will keep posting when I get some results. |

I used to do long time ago (in 96-98). I used to advertise in news paper classifieds. You can use car bumper stickers

Sounds good vlabroo. I'm interested in your results and methods, even though I was thinking along the lines of something more simple that virtually anyone can do.

yes kdsm100, I've seen all the offline topics discussed on here, but they all basically about the same thing, and it's not something that is really simple and easy to do by virtually anyone. though what has been posted here about offline is interesting to say the least.

I think there actually are quite a few warriors here doing just that. Marketing is not one-dimensional but should include all online and offline techniques. Most of my Amazon and other affiliate products for example are sold by offline media advertising and telemarketing to drive traffic. Many of the largest online companies including Facebook, Google, Yahoo, etc are also using both offline and online multimedia advertising.

Yes it's great if you can combine the two effectively. For example if you were setting up websites for people you can do it at a v low cost to get custom but then have them sign up for a hosting company through your aff link - some hosting aff programs pay $60 per sale so you do 10-20 of those jobs a month and you're looking at a nice top up income along with your other earners. I'm aiming for $100k by next february purely off domain flipping - by targeting offline business related keywords etc. So yes, combine both well and you start really bringing in the green. |
