Presell page important in video marketing?

Im making some videos to promote a product that im doing affiliate marketing for im wondering if it requires a presell page or would it be wise to just do a direct link? I read somewhere that its better to do a direct link when doing videos but im not compeltely sure.

bump, i guess its always better to have a presell page to warm the customer up despite what medium of marketing you are doing?

I would say yes, and in top of that you also "own" the traffic your video is generating.
