Paypal issue when making payment

First of all: I'm not asking for paypal support.

I'm having problem with Paypal. I have, let's say, enough in my paypal avaliable balance, but when I want to buy something, I only have my credit cards as my funding options.

Do you have same issue, or it's only for me?

    I think your paypal balance is unable to cover the amount entirely, that you want to buy? Which is why its leading to the credit card option.

      Well, I think 3k is enough for something what costs 40 bucks.

      I have enough in currency I'm buying.

      My account is verified, non-US, and almost 6 months old.

    Well I can put some light I suppose - Whom you paying too - Some Seller from Country Like India - If yes , then - some countries due to financial regulations are only accepting CC during Purchase.

    Simple Terms - I am from India - If I am selling something to a customer - Customer Can only pay me through Credit card if I am using the PayPal as the Processor & not from the Balance of PayPal - Regulation of Indian Government - PayPal is following it - so this the case.

      I faced a problem. I could not send payment to someone for no reason at all. When I sent a mail to Paypal, I got a reply, it is for "security reasons" and that I should find some alternate source to make payment to the party. Once Paypal rejects you to send payment to a particular paypal id, we can't do anything about it other than finding alternate source.

      Anyone else faced similar problems ?

    The party I'm buying from is US based.

    When I'm in the payment process in paypal interface, I can choose only my credit cards, not paypal balance as funding option.

    I have enough (euros and USDs, either) on my paypal balance. Payment should be made in USDs, and I have enough USDs.
