Quickie WordPress Question

If in WordPress you click on Tools > Page Links > and then uncheck one of your pages, do the search engines still look at those pages? Thanks for your help.

    I'm fairly certain that the only way to keep your pages from being indexed is to set them to private or manually remove them via webmaster tools.

    Perhaps you could put a robots.txt file in your root directory and inside this put noindex or nofollow tags on the pages that you do not want indexed?

    If you password protect a post or page (can you password protect pages?) then Google won't index the content.
