Clickbank: passing name/email after purchase

Hey Warriors,

Quick question: how do you pass the buyer's name+email from Clickbank's purchasing system to my post-purchase Thank You page? I want to autosubscribe my customers to my cutomers mailing list.

IMPORTANT: I use a custom autoresponder solution, so no 3rd party solution will work (DL Guard, WishList, Aweber, etc). I need to literally pass the name/email PHP variables to my ThankYou page.

    I use DLGuard for this purpose and it handles the job just fine.

    Just install the script and it will give you the code and directions to setup
    your custom thank you page. Your customers will also be added to your email list automatically using this script.

    I use WishList Member to deliver my content ....This awesome WP plugin has a feature to subscribe to my Aweber email list all the customers that buy my products or join my membership program automatically.

    okay you can set it up in clickbank that after they pay instead of going to a download page they go to a squeeze page where they have to put in their info before they go to the download page . So for instance they could go to a squeeze page that says something like to register your product put in your name and email or put in your name and email and we will immediately send you a link to your product something along those lines .. Make sense??

    Yes, that is how I have it right now, but that's precisely the step I want to bypass, which is why I want to pass the name/email variables to the Thank You page, so my PHP script automatically registers them into my mailing list.

    Hector - clickbank tells you exactly how to do this is in a tutorial. I created a tutorial also for CB vendors because of a method I was /am using to build a list of interested buyers.

    It's a simple php "get" command. Clickbank automatically posts the info for you as I recall.

    I think they use cname as the variable for customer name. Google that. You'll find what you need.

      Same way as the code I sent you. Just change the cb variables (eg cbname) to what PayPal uses.
