How do I count outbound link clicks in WP?

I've started advertising in AdWords and I now need to count the number of times a reader clicks my outbound links to other websites in posts and pages.

I just searched here and spent an hour on WP dot org and could not find a plugin for WP that gives me that count. It would be nice to get daily, weekly, monthly and reset counts.

I want to track clicks for various campaigns.

I want the links to look normal and when the reader places their mouse over the link the browser shows the normal link - no reference to a counter.

    The standard WordPress Stats option now available in Jetpack does that for you.

    Clicks can be summarized by daily, weekly, quarterly, yearly and all-time.

    Just install jetpack traffic stats and then click on the traffic bar for the day and it will tell you.

      Thanks guys for the info.

      I installed Jetpack and everything works except outbound clicks - I've clicked and clicked and waited the 30 minutes the plugin demands but no clicks seem to be counted.

      I'll keep trying....
