Yes very simply but overlooked.

We have a list of over 100k in many different niches we have added over the years. Regardless what anyone says paul, email marketing is working better than ever!

If you have a good relationship with your list, anytime you ask them to give you feedback they will just do it, without even thinking.

Normally when I guess what my clients what I get it wrong. When I ask them what they want, I get it SO RIGHT, and the money just comes.

Yes I survey them, and do a poll sometimes, and you get a very good idea of one or two products you can create to help them, and to make YOU money.

Its very simple, but this little tactic is killer and has increased our profits exponentially over the years.

The fact is that e-mail marketing will only be profitable if you actually know what your subscribers need and want, right now. And the best way to actually find out this is to survey them. Just give them a little incentive to help you get more people filling out your surveys.

That little tool has actually added a nice sum to my turnover.

Here is a big hint.

With the way the economy is right now, people are craving for info on how they can ride out the economic and even profit incase things get worse. Who doesn't want financial security right?

I always knew the clients in our particular niche wanted that. But by surveying you are able to tap into specifics. Depending on how big your HERD is, or following this single piece of advice can make you a MASSIVE amount of money.

I have tried to make things complex and you end up just running around in circles.

These days I just have a simple system that works. Simple is well.... simple. And the K.I.S.S principle always makes it easier to make money.

My focus for 2012 is more lead generation, more traffic and more affiliate and the strategies I have given above. The money is in the list, I was so stupid and realized this later on in my marketing career. Once you reliase the power of building a list [freebie / buyers] then your whole lifestyle and current financial situation can change very quickly.

In my opinion you cannot win in this game (well I mean the niche marketing game which I am in) without building a list.

I was pretty excited when I read the title of this post. But felt a little let down after I clicked.

Number 2 and 3 are easy, I suppose, but will never happen without number 1. And number 1 seems impossible for many of us, unfortunately.

A little let down? I do not understand. In just a few sentences I have given you a simple plan that could change your lifestyle. I mean flip it upside down and basically give you the opportunity to do the things you have always wanted to do, whenever you want AND with whoever you want.

Well number 1) is really the top priority in this case. Focus on building that motherf'ing list. You can't really ask for feedback or give anything to anyone if there is nobody in that list in the first place.

Just focus on making a huge (and highly targeted) list for the specific niche. It's also obviously important to build solid relationships with your list too. You wanna be god-like in the eyes of your leads and the only way to do that is to a) have a list in the first place and b) build solid relations with them.

You made a rather outrageous claim:

Thanks celente, this has spurred a hibernating warrior into action.

I have just created a surveymonkey form and sent it to 2500 subscribers. In less than a day I got 60 responses to wade through.

I have doubts about whether I can sell anything to this list as I don't think they are the digital product buying kind of folk, but the information collected may look impressive to advertisers who would pay good money to reach this audience who do have some serious $$$ to spend.

Do not use survey monkey. If you want to start a real business go and use aweber or something that is easy and simple to use and has no restrictions.

If you are listbuilding and forming a relationship with them, they will NOT think, who is this doobey wacker, and why is he sending me this stuff. Give them a reason to click, and buy. Give them cool stuff, help them out and learn more about them.

Give them every reason in the world to make sure your voice is one to be heard. Otherwise you are waisting your time.

I got 60 responses in 24 hours which I am happy with and there is enough information to make use of. I was just saying I took your idea of finding out more about them. People don't do that enough.

Thanks for stressing it out. However, I still believe that the success in earning extras depends on your personality as well as how motivated you are to take every single step.

No matter how great your plan is but your mind and heart is not that dedicated, everything will still be useless. I hope every marketer will look the picture on the bright side.
