Default Way Off Topic But Important None The Less

I just got a reminder of how precious life really is. My brothers wife's father just past away suddenly from a heart attack. 52 years old. That is really not old at all. We were all just together last weekend at his grandaughters 1st birthday. He was one of those peopele that would have put down what ever he was doing and come and helped you if you called. Tomorrow is never promised, I learned that a long time ago and have had many reminders.

Please don't post any "Im sorry for your loss" replys. I'm honestly not looking for any reply's at all.

Just take a coule minutes today to call your parents, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives or children and tell them you love them. It could be the most important thing you do today.

It's something I think most of us don't do often enough (including myself), but you just never know when the opportunity to do so will be gone.

I presently live in Tucson, AZ, before that...NYC for 24 years. My family (Mom, brothers, sister) are in Buffalo, NY. It's hard being so far away....I never call as much as I should...
My younger brother, 2 years younger than I, past away 2 1/2 years ago at 45yo from a heart attack. Makes you think long and hard...way too young...I wish I had stayed in touch more often...

Myself....well...just last month, Jan 28th I myself had a "mild heart attack"...doctors placed 2 stents...first thing I did after was call my Mom...thankful I had that opportunity to.
Too close of a call for me....I've spoken to her 5 times since 1/28.
Think I'll go call her now...

Wow. At 51, that hits a little close to home.

Where's that phone...?

For me it isn't how many years you live that's important. It's how well you lived the years you've been given. Sounds like your friend lived a good life. And thank you for the reminder, Bryan. We could all die any day. I'm mostly happy with the progress I've made and I wouldn't be sad if I died tomorrow. I'd be disappointed though because there's much more I want to experience.
