Please help me clarify this instruction.

Greetings Warriors,

Please me clarify this, "There are a lot of other domains that point to files within his goldbar hosting account (I have access on it). They were not set up as add on domains like the ones you mention here. (How could that be? I am confused.)

In addition, "The domain names were just point to their file location within the goldbar hosted main domain name. That is why you need to go into GoDaddy.com to determine exactly what domains there are being used out there. (What is that pointing to their file location all about?)

Lastly, "You will see what I mean when you research the destination of all my domains." (How to research that destination of all his domains in godaddy?)

Please help.

Thanks,
G.B

P.S. Please admin, consider this post, please..,

I presume these "instructions" are from your host account in which case, it's possible one should read "my" as "your".

I'm making further assumptions about your knowledge and skills in pointing your DNS (domain name server) to your host account. So forgive me if I'm telling you something you already know.

1 - If you registrar is GoDaddy from whom you've bought the domains and you are hosting your domain with Goldbar hosting, you should have the Name Server details emailed to you from your host.

2 - In you GoDaddy account, click on the domain you are hosting or wish to host in Goldbar.
3 - Click on NameServer, select change name server>check the last radio button and enter Goldbar's NS details in the two boxes instead of those already there and save.

4 - In you host account, go to Add-on Domains and then enter the domain you wish to add to your root domain.

Your web pages for that domain can now be uploaded to your host account.

If I have misunderstood the issue, then it might help to provide additional information and to produce the host company's query without amendment or commentary so that you may receive the help that you seek.

    Jamie
