Is there a problem with Aweber?

I have a WSo running and I have had a trickle of sign ups for a free offer. There is a link on the confirmation page (the only place it is seen) that shows in the affiliate section of that offer that it has been clicked on 24 times but I have only 5 sign ups in Aweber??

I have checked the process by signing up myself and it takes me straight to the confirmation page ( the url set up in Aweber) as normal but I have not had the confirm e mail message with the link in that then confirms the subscriber and takes them to the registration page. I know that my process is correct as I have actually had confirmed subscribers so they must have had the confirmation e mail but that was some hours ago.

has anyone else been having problems today or is it just me?

    Hey Mark, I've had this same problem in the last few days, but not for as long a time span as you. The confirmation email was taking a few minutes to show up...like 5 or so....not hours.

    The confirmation emails sent by aweber are from a different smtp server than normal followups.

    These confirmation message behave differently in the various isp filters emails go through before reaching an inbox. many of the email providers hold those confirmation message in a que type system for a a bit sometimes.

    Although, I have been getting signups to all my lists for the last few hours. The confirmations seem to be working fine for me.

      Thanks guys just starting coming through again but still confused - I have 30+ clicks on a link thats only shown up on a confirmation page but only about 12 sign ups?

        Did you click the link while testing? How are you tracking those clicks on your confirmation page?

          I know I clicked the link twice just to test the url was working OK but not 30+ times. I dont have any link tracking set up for the link so cant tell where the clicks are coming from all a bit strange

            Setup up some link tracking. It could answer that part of your question with certainty, I can only make educated guesses.

            Hi Mark
            I know that there was a major gap in aweber service last Sunday. I couldn't send out my usual Broadcast because of it.
            Today's Broadcast seems to be going OK with the normal rate of openings and clickthroughs I would expect.
            As regards your WSO. It might be worth bumping it to claw back any loss you might have from losing the benefit of the first page exposure.(This from someone still slightly terrified of running an WSO of their own.)
