It all started on the 9th of January 2010...

This is when i uploaded my first video onto youtube.com i believe that first made me thought about building a website and making money online. I have to admit my youtube channel wasn't very popular, but i always wanted to build a website for it. I started searching google for things like "build a website for free" then i came across a free website builder called wix, so i built a website for my youtube channel: all exclucive videos The website was VERY bad and i never actually finished it. I quit uploading videos to youtube in march 2010 because there was no point in making videos if no one would watch them.

Summer 2010...

It got to the summer and i really wanted to make some money online. I searched on google for things like "make money online" but i couldnt find anything, at that stage i new nothing about building a profitable website or anything. I think june-aug 2010 i must of signed up to paid-to-click websites and offer websites but i made around $0.05 so after that i quit completely.

October 2010...

I started to research online again about how i could build a website for free. I never spent anything on domains/ a web builder. In late October i found a blogging platform called blogger.com. I decided to make a blog there.

November 2010...

On November the 1st 2012 i launched my first ever blog! I named the blog abgamehelp and the blog was about video gaming. I started to post on the website and it got around 10 visitors per day. I started looking into how i could make money with the blog then i found adsense.. so i installed adsense on the website (adsense is where you put advertisements on your website and if someone clicks on the advert you get money). After installing adsense the site still wasn't making any money, so i decided to spend $12 on a .com domain. I bought the domain: abgamehelp.com *note: the website isn't online anymore . I only posted on the website during November, then i quit posting on it.

December 2010...

It was the 1st of December and i heard about a new facebook game that had just came out. It was a very popular facebook game called cityville. I decided to post on abgamehelp about cityville. Within about a day of posting on abgamehelp about this new game cityville my visitors started to rise. After i realised that if i keep on posting about this new game cityville my visitors will keep rising. I renamed the blog to: FacebookCityvilleCheats.Com After renaming the blog i started to post like crazy!

February 2011...

In February 2011 i decided to try and make money with the website through affiliate marketing, i also made a facebook fanpage for the website. I placed a banner on FacebookCityvilleCheats.Com advertising a cityville guide and if someone clicks on the banner and buys the cityville guide i would of make $17.90.

June 2011...

FacebookCityvilleCheats.Com was at its peak! It made $5000 from selling cityville guides! I did notice the website and game cityville was starting to decline and get less users so i had to act very fast. In the end i decided to buy a brand new website for $300. The website was called: urlf.ly. To start with the website didnt get any visitors, but i started to ask internet marketing related blogs if they would write about urlf.ly and in return i would add their blog to the urlf.ly partner page. All together i got around 15 blogs to write about urlf.ly, this was a completely free way to promote the website, and to my luck many people signed up to the website. AND IT WENT VIRAL!! It started to get 60,000 hits a day and on good days it got over 200,000 hits! It was amazing! Then i had to put the website onto its own server, i didnt no much about this but the server company (storm on demand) helped me do this. It passed a month, a few million hits later.. and i noticed the server costs! It was something like $300 (which was alot to me back then) i had no choice but to sell the website .

September 2011...

I sold urlf.ly on flippa for $2100. (then the person who bought urlf.ly sold it on again for $12,000 ahhhh!!) Anyway after selling urf.ly i noticed the power of website flipping. I started to flip brand new websites which took me around 10 minutes to make. They usually went for around $200 each.

January 2012...

At the end of January my total flippa sales were at $7,000. If i take away all the flippa fees and site costs i would of probably made around $4000-$5500. Although making $7000 in a few months was good i started to notice that many more people started to sell new websites on flippa, now i dont earn much from flippa because too many people do what i do.

March 2012...

So its march now and because my website: Cityville Tips, Tricks And Cheats and website flipping isnt making money for me anymore ive decided to start 2 new things...

1) Ive decided to start kindle publishing. My first 2 books got published this week and so far ive made 5 sales and ive made $10. I think thats a good start, also i paid someone $40 for the 2 books to be wrote. So hopefully in 1 month i should have my money back.

2) Ive built 2 seasonal micro-niche websites. Each site has cost me around $40 to build, that includes articles, social bookmarking ect.. Now my websites are ranking very well on the first page of google and i should start seeing income in late march/april (they are both easter based websites.)

So, thats it really. That is my online story.

Here is a tip that can really help you make more online:

- At the end of every day write down what you are going to do on the next day, and make sure them things get done!

Ps..

You can do anything! If you want to build a website and your not sure it will be profitable, dont ask others just do it! Test your idea, the chances are your idea will be profitable! I never joined any forum or any website asking someone to review something or to help me, im all self learnt! You can do the same. If you have a question search google for it! You WILL find a answer!
