Warrior Forum More Popular Than Hulu, Wal-Mart and the NBA

How popular is the Warrior Forum you ask?

Here's a few brands you might know that the Warrior forum exceed in Alexa ranking world-wide:

Wall Street Journal
Reutters
Wal-Mart
Hulu
Scribd
TypePad
HubPage
EzineArticles
Fiverr
Chase Bank
eHow

WarriorForum receives more traffic than all the above... not to mention beating out about 100 million other ranked sites around the world.

Did you know the Warrior Forum is ranked as the 74th most popular website in the United States -- and 146th most popular website as determined by traffic in the WORLD?

Those are some interesting statistics. It's great to know that we're part of a huge community. And yes, a LOT of people are always in search of making more money (me included). That always helps get traffic to a website.

While WF is popular, that data is skewed.

The data is based on alexa rankings. A site only gets credit for visits when people with an alexa toolbar or tracker visits sites. That's anything that is in your browser that allows you to see alexa rankings on sites when you visit them.

More IMers have that stuff on their machines probably than any other sub-group of the population. Those IMers tend to come to WF, so WF gets an artificially high alexa rank.

Also, consider that the WF gets many more multiple credits from the same users than many of the other sites you listed.

So WF is very popular, it's not even close to #146 in the world.

Some of what you said is accurate.

Maybe it would be more accurate to say, it's the 146th most VIEWED website in the world according to Alexa (the worlds most popular and accepted website ranking service).
