Default Can anyone recommend a link builder (person or automated)?

I have an aged domain (about 9 or 10 years old) with relevant content but I haven't paid attention to it for quite a while and over the years it has slipped from Page 1 on google to several pages away.

Having done some competitive analysis, it's clear that my site needs a big *relevant* link boost. (#1 position has 9000 incoming links more than me - I know quantity isn't everything but his links are relevant and good quality).

I always prefer this stuff to be done manually, or even semi-manually.

Anyway, rather than go straight to elance or guru.com as I usually would to find someone to run a link building campaign, I thought I'd see if warriors have people, services or products they would strongly recommend to run a great link building campaign. Relevance of links is v important to me.

It's a seasonal site (summer!) so I need to get going yesterday.

Looking forward to your input.

Thanks,

Der

You could check out Angela Edwards link WSO offer, and ask her if she perhaps offers an additional service of adding the links on your behalf. I've got a feeling it could be mutually beneficial!

davebo, Thanks for the solid advice. That's exactly what I plan to do. I'm currently in the process of systemizing my web promotion methods into a comprehensive step-by-step checklist which I will use for this exact process. I too don't believe in over-paying for "knowledge" that I already have.

sentient, Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out right away

I must give Righteous Kudos to Angela Edwards for the work she has provided for me and my ecommerce site. She delivers 30 invaluable links on a monthly basis. No need to go out of your way to find any other backlinker.

Thought you might like to check this out.

I joined a free membership where everyone can build top quality
one way links.

The owners of this membership since September 2008 have been testing
on the group of volunteers (they call the group their "success team")
the effect from this type of backlink building. Within 2-9 weeks the
people from success team got 1st page in Google for their keywords.

Inside you will get backlinks from:
- relevant pages
- inside non-duplicate content
- with diversified anchor texts (for SEO safety)
- in the most natural SEO way possible.

You can build as many one way links per day as you wish - there are
no limits in the number of backlinks for the members.
