Can You Answer These 4 Simple Questions???

Hi Warriors,

I want to know what your opinion is about Landing pages with Audio and/or Videos?

Why you ask? Because I'm setting up a landing page and want to how people feel about it.

I personally Love Audio and Video but hate it when I land on a page and an it starts blurting out of my speakers and I can't find out where to stop the damn thing. I don't mind if I see that its there and can play it if I want to, but quite honestly I hardly ever do.

So Answer these 4 questions for me:

Do you like video more than audio?

Do you like video more than text?

Do you like both video and text?

When you find yourself on a landing page with video do you like the video to play immediately or do you like to have a choice?

    There are days that I like to make my own choices depending on my time schedule. Choice is good and it is respectful of your prospect.

    Yes landing pages with video are better in my opinion as long as they provide valuable content and not a blatant pitch. And yes, I should be able to play the video when I'm ready to play it, not automatically.

    A good example is the way Frank Kern does his video squeeze pages.

    I like to have a choice for any of them. I like videos where it is not just someone talking but with someone showing what they are doing. I also get a lot out of just text.

    My opinions:
    If there is just audio it is not as effective.
    A simple introduction video with great supporting text is best.
    The video automatically playing can be annoying especially if it comes on really strong and is loud. I don't mind as much if it is soft spoken and friendly.

    IMO, having the CHOICE of a video/audio playing is MUCH better than having it automatically play.
