What's the best Blog Directories/Blog Submission Places

Hey all

I'm a newbie warrior but I've been checking out this forum off and on for like a year now, so I've learned a few tricks I've been trying to implement.

After trial and error I decided I'm going to format my business model around writing since that's what I like to do which means article writing and blogging are going to be my main marketing tools.

Before I had a website advertising my product (a fiction book) and I had submitted my website to like 30 blog directories and all that hard work got me nothing. Only one or two of the blog sites got me any traffic at all, and only 4 directories got me any hits EVER.

Now that I'm trying again and relaunching my page i'd like a little help in this area. Just need to know some blog directories that actually have traffic and let's you submit multiple sites.

Also are there any blog places that let you submit each new blog post you create? Like If monday I have a post about dogs, i can submit it and tuesday when i make a post about cats I can submit that too.

Hoping to get a nice chunky list and make the most out of each and everyone of my blog post. THANK YOU!

    Yes, that will get you close to nothing.

    Most directories are pretty useless, for this.

    Blog directories, and article directories exactly the same. They're not where "potential customer traffic" looks for anything.

    If you want to syndicate your content and to promote your site, there's very little point in doing so to multiple directories (blog directories or article directories). That just isn't how they work. It's important to understand "who looks where". Potential customers don't look in directories, and that isn't what directories are there for.

    Exactly so ... this is the aim. (Or should be!). Well, if it helps/interests you, this is how I'm doing that, myself.

    But note that getting your articles/posts syndicated in places that help, so that you can make the most of them, inevitably depends on their being written for syndication in the first place.

    These are old ways of blogging. If you wanted to promote your blog why not do guest blogging instead. This will make you more reliable as an author. Choose blogs that is related to your niche and post something as a guest. This will definitely give you traffic specially if that blog has lots of traffic.

    That's a lot of great info! Thanks! Yeah, your right about the blog directories. I forgot those are really just to help ranking nowadays. I will check out those links.
