Hitting the Wall....
been on here a few weeks now (though been off 2 weeks or so as I've been focusing on the work stuff) and feel as though I'm hitting the wall. I had no experience at all in online info/ marketing etc, and its been a steep learning curve.
I've learnt about plr, hosting, set up sales pages, squeeze pages, popups, discovered clickbank, statcounter and aweber, etc.
Set up my first effort site, which was a slightly rewritten PLR ebook on parenting, ($9.95)plus I wrote a free 'offer' report of several pages to get people to subscribe. Its ok, was mainly setup as a 'hook' to start a list, which I then thought I could work on
It was hard work, but pleased I have got this far.
I'm at a stage now where I'm getting a trickle of visitors, but no sales (which I'm not too fussed about) but no sign ups either, and not sure what to do.
Should I just sit back and see if I pick up more traffic?
realise that perhaps this product/ niche isn't the right one, appreciate that it gave me good experience and skills, and try another?
another 'fly in the ointment' is I'm reading a lot about blogging, and quite like the idea of trying something there (monetizing obviously). Can you run these two areas in tandem, or best to focus on one?
bit of a ramble, but have found myself sat here for 3 hours and accomplished nothing, so wanted to do SOMETHING constructive!
