When you bump the paid advertising listing can you modify your listing title and body or is it just a thread bump?

You can change it anytime you want, without bumping. For the very first post in the thread (the one that started the thread) click edit > go advanced.

You can change the title from there. And this goes for any thread you create, not just WSO's.

Well you have to bump the listing anyways since listings go lower on page when other people bump and new listings become available.

Unlike regular threads the listings don't climb on the page when you get a new post.

What's cool and something that I've experienced is that when you change your title Google picks it up as another page. I have seen my WSO get indexed and then later went and checked at it was listed 4 times because over 2 months I changed the title 4 times. Just type in your product name and you will see it listed in Google from the WSO section. If you changed your title then it will also be listed right under the main listing in Google.

Thats true, but trust me on this - you do NOT "have" to bump it to make sales.

You can make sales even when its on page 100.. I've NEVER bumped my WSO thread, and it still makes sales.. Although I'm thinking about bumping it sometime just for giggles. LOL I'm a very bored person.. dont judge me >:\

I know we see a lot of new members posting threads about stuff that has been answered a million times before, but believe it or not, a majority of them do use the search feature. They have ways to find your thread.

Especially when you put it in your signature, or have affiliates to promote it.
