Hey, of course flipping website is a whole business for a lot of people. If you have good stream of income, you can flip x6 times the earnings. If you really don't know how to make the "sale page" for flippa etc, you can ask a broker.

The problem with flipping websites is that most people are either looking for quick short term gains, or an 'autopilot' system. For this reason, you do see a lot of junk turnkey sites being sold on Flippa etc.

With that being said, if you have a truly unique, brandable website then you score quite a bit of money. Particularly, if it's a developed website with a positive cash flow.

I agree - if/when I ever flip a site, thats going to be my approach. If you get a site thats getting real traffic and making real money I think thats how you stand out from the majority of the sites on Flippa. A lot of people just create a site on a decent domain then instantly try to sell it before having an traffic - thats not "flipping."

Flipping would be buying a site - getting more traffic from it, getting more money, making the site BETTER. Then selling it.

Agreed. Flipping a site should be like flipping a house. You take a sub-par website, make improvements so that the next person can actually use it, and then you sell it for more than you bought it for. It's not rocket science! lol

Lots of rubbish on Flippa recently which I can only put down to people reading certain flippa books which have been touted around in the last couple of months.

Agree with the above comments, build a solid site with traffic and profits established and you cannot go far wrong.

Flipping websites can be good source of income. You can flip your site for 6x - 10x site earning.

But I have to agree with the other about junk turnkey site that recently have been sold at flippa.

As mentioned above, the big money in flipping websites is selling sites that have earnings or other assets (like a big list, twitter followers, traffic etc…).

You can make money selling brand new sites, but you will find that you have to sell a lot of them, and provide a lot of customer support in order to get $1000 a month.

Well...There are 2 kinds of site flippers. One is a turnkey flipper, those you find selling turnkey sites and one is a marketer, those who purchase a site, build it and sell it for a profit.

There is no right or wrong approach. Both makes money, and both provide value. I flip sites using the 'turnkey' approach and I made a full time income with it.

As long as you can make websites which would generate money on autopilot or if you own a business which is getting a lot of traffic and conversion, you can sell those easily on flippa other then that it's very difficult to sell any Site.

I have seen people working on ClickBank Products, make website, rank them and then sell them. These kinds of site generate good amount of money on pure autopilot and sites like these can be easily sold on flippa

People have different ways to make money flipping websites, some people like to purchase sites that are established and then fix the site up getting it more traffic and sales, then turn around and sale it again.

While others, such as me like to grab a domain and build on top of that domain, getting the site traffic and sales and within a few weeks turn around and sale it for profit. Many people don't see this as flipping but in my opinion, you can make more money doing it that way then actually purchasing an established site and then putting more work into it, turn around and try to sell it. Of course there is a chance that you might not even brake even.

You asked do anyone make 1,000 dollars a month. Yeah many people do and some make more than that. A lot of people make that by selling "Start Up" sites. You don't have to sell your turnkey sites for thousands of dollars if you just did a Quick Flip, but you can sell it for a few hundreds.

Also since you asked that question, it seems that you are not looking to establish sites for a few months and then try and sell. To me it seems that you are looking to go a Quick Flip route which I do agree with. I say that because many people fail when it comes to buying a site and then trying to sell it after they improve on the site.

When I first started, I didn't read any guides or ebooks about flipping websites. I went to Flippa and saw what others was selling, I then knew in my soul that I could create sites like those and actually get targeted visitors and sales to my sites. By using simple email list, SEO, social media, and other forms of traffic generating techniques that I have picked up over the years.

Well that is my opinion, and you just have to figure out what you think is best for you.
