Whats your purpose for being an Internet Marketer?

To have passive income & pursue other things in my life.

It is indeed fun to do internet marketing and make money at the same time.

For me, the reason is because I want to have the freedom of time to travel and work at the same time. The core reason is still to give my family a better standard of living and lifestyle

Location independence and being my own boss is my purpose/reason...

I'm in this industry not for riches but for developing a lifestyle that allows me to pursue some of my life's goals that won't make me a dime. I've been trying to get up to a comfortable income level with passive and semi-passive income streams so that I can do more open-source programming work, travel, and work on some radically sustainable building projects. I'm slowly increasing my earnings but it'll be another year probably before I'll be within reach of my first major milestone.

Well really it's to hopefully give me the Freedom to do what I want... I don't want to be stuck behind a desk for the rest of my days so I hope to one day be able to give up the day job and live the Internet Lifestyle.

Tim Ferriss's 4 Hour Workweek did it for me - read that book and I was like "what the hell am I doing!" Since then I've been planning my escape

I do Internet Marketing because I truly enjoy it even during the rough times. I'm addicted to seeing hard work and determination convert into success. That alone, is enough to keep me going.

As for the money factor, that's an added bonus. If I said it didn't matter, I'd certainly be lying. My goal for income is for me to be able to make the conversion to a full time IMer and be able to quit my day job comfortably and not be in a pressured position upon doing so.

Of course being able to do what you, want when you want is another sweet perk!

I do internet marketing because I do not living the corporate lifestyle and climbing the ladder. In doing IM, you are in control of your own success and can earn a great amount of money, which would take years in any other 9-5 job

Time Freedom, and enough money to do whatever the heck I want to do.

Because the position of "rock star" has already been filled and I don't know how to do anything else.

Freedom. Freedom to do what I want, and go where I want, whenever I want. Oh yeah and not having a ceiling on my income.

I look at it as financial freedom. Having yourself in this industry would give you the opportunity of residual income and if you're the extreme type...it can be a form of monthly income and you can QUIT your job, fire your Boss!!

The freedom to enjoy to do what I like in life with no worries on the income side!

I want to spend more time with my family. I want to be there whenever my parent needs me. I want to be there when my children needs me.

Life is short and time is something that cannot be retrieved back when it goes by. My family is my source of inspiration and want to be with them as long as I can.

I buy foods with money. I buy my time with money. So I have to get money no matter what. But time still priceless compared to money.

So, don't give up guys. No matter what the reason you come to join this arena just don't give up. Your goals will come closer if you work on it. One by one of course.

So I can make money and still have plenty of time with my family!

To make money, have freedom and to challenge me creatively?

To get out of the "system" in a sense. If you think about it, why does the majority of people get paid just enough to make ends meet?

In most cases, there's a massive gap between how much the company earns and how much we get paid to carry on slugging away. In reality, there is no reason the company can't pay you more, but if that happens, you meet your financial goals quicker and may no longer have to be in the system.

We trade our hours for a very tiny piece of the pie, get 2 days off then back again to slug away. Now days, they expect you to work on the weekends also. Day in, day out, day in day out, same routine. Days, months, years go by doing exactly the same thing. Before you know it you're at retirement age and your life's gone....

What about the freedom you wanted while you were young to travel, spend more time with your family, do things you enjoy doing etc?
So that is why I have started in IM. I have taken action, have made mistakes but I will keep trying to be financially independent while I am still in the system.

I have relatives who are financially independent due to IM. They now live in a gated community because of it. So I know there is money to be made here. They just don't reveal their strategies apart from saying they are into affiliate marketing.

Yes, Internet marketing provides tremendous opportunities to earn the extra money you are looking for to supplement your regular income. It can of course replace your regular job provided you work hard with creativity.

I think the word 'freedom' just about sums it up.

My purpose of Internet marketing is to strike a good business relationship with people across the globe. This can be done by giving them the best products and services.

I detest working for somebody, the internet gives me an opportunity to be a boss of my own.

To have to never resort to working at a job again. Hate it... even my dream job i hate. I just want to sit down, workout, and eat tacos everyday... without my boss telling me that i have 30 minutes to do so.

Yep - more or less the same for me as most others here! Do not wish to get back to my day job again. I am wanting to boost my passive income through IM. Another important reason is also the fact that I kind of enjoy working when it comes to any aspect of IM - I guess this is what is needed the most in order to get that feeling of satisfaction years down the line when you look back

I do IM to try and build some back-up income for when I'm too ill to write.

To be able to make money on the internet is such a great freedom. There is a number of different ways to do it. Ultimately in the world of IM, most of us end up becoming our own boss with our own schedule. To live life as your own boss with your own schedule is the ultimate freedom.

So I can help my life and help others life, my all time goal is to help other by creating jobs and opportunity, money is also factor but winning the heart of people is the biggest factor on earth..

IM is a means to end for me. I intend for it to give me the freedom to better the world in a meaningful way.

My purpose is to teach to the world everything I know and make money by selling my own products, and also by providing services related to my specialty.

I simply love the fantastic alternative to directly exchange messages with everyone in the world in only a few seconds. This is one of my best tools.

What about being able to immediately publish posts about what I want to show to the world? Another fantastic alternative. The internet was made for me.

I’m trying to become a better internet marketer because this is how my work will be respected. So, my purpose as an internet marketer is to use marketing as a way to become known. I have to be famous if I want to see the world trusting my work.

Freedom to do whatever I want, whenever I want, travel to places, buy **** that otherwise I wouldn't be able to, etc; to sum it up: the lifestyle.

Also the feeling of fulfillment that at 20 I'm earning more than most of my ex classmates will ever be earning after they graduate their universities in a few years and I'm not stopping here!

My main reason that I wanted to be an Internet Marketer is to become happy in life and just to become more successful in life... I chose this because this is the only place where you can show your true potential online and to helping others succeed and share new marketing ideas for the future.

Time with family.

My first purpose is to be financially free, get my parents to retire asap. Then is to fund the projects that I have in mind. To many, these projects are just a waste of time, but to me, they mean alot. Now, I do need alot of money to fund these projects, and are all NPO projects. I understand the power and potential of IM and have set a goal to raise as much as I can.

To sit on the beach while working on my websites. =)

I love to travel.

As a new AM, I've been enjoying helping others in the industry and help to make them more profitable. It's also a great industry with successful people, and being surrounded by them only encourages me to be more successful. Keeps me motivated to work hard.

the extra money is good when you have a young family but getting that extra money comes with some hard work but that hard work is paying off i am not gready, how nice it would be to make millions but aslong as i get a bit of steady cash coming from my hard work i am happy and kids can have all the things they deserve

At first my reason was to NOT go through a 45 minute daily commute (each way) at a job I hated.

Then it was having the freedom to travel and live life on my terms.

Now my purpose is simple: "Make money doing what I love; while being able to build a business that provides financial security and freedom for my future."

I love business and I love the internet - it just happens that IM is the perfect marriage of both; and the flexibility to set up shop from anywhere in the world with internet access just amazes me - the idea of how it all works; it never gets old to me.

The low start up costs, the ability to test on the fly, the unlimited data you have about your customers...

IM rules!!!
