Erotic fiction and romantic fiction seem to be selling hot on Amazon Kindle. I just want to know, if there are warriors that sell fiction on Amazon Kindle:

1. How well do these books sell?
2. Do you outsource the writing or do you do it yourself?
3. How much do you pay for a well written 5000-word fiction eBook?

I'm working on this niche and i can say it is going on well

1. How well do these books sell?
They sell very well if u do marketing for them well enough. it is getting more and more competitive

2. Do you outsource the writing or do you do it yourself?
Mainly outsource. I just give the outline that I want

3. How much do you pay for a well written 5000-word fiction eBook?
Normally I pay 50-60 USD

  Every time I read a thread like this, it makes me so relieved I don't depend on writing for other people: $50/$60 for a "well-written 5,000 words"?! I don't know which is worse: the fact that people expect to buy that product for that price, or the fact that they're actually able to. But there you are: it's a "free market", and the conventional wisdom is that we have to respect that, because that somehow, magically, by definition, "makes it ok".

  My Kindle book is approx 5k words.
  
  There's no way I'd do that again for 50-60 Dollars.

  Hi Daniel, could you please explain. Was it a kindle book you wrote for someone or a Kindle book you paid someone $50-60 to write? If it was the second, what was the quality like and how much do you think you would pay for a ghostwriter?
