WHAT TO DO IF AMAZON IS NOT ALLOWING AFFILIATES IN YOUR STATE

I see in our forum that some people are posting about having problems registering as affiliates with Amazon, because Amazon is not allowing in some states.

There is a possible solution:

a) register a LLC in a state where is allowed to be an Amazon affiliate; better to be a state with no individual income tax for legally saving on taxes (Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington and Wyoming; there are other 2 state taxing only dividends and interest- New Hampshire and Tennessee);

b) use a Registered Agent service for forwarding your email used for this business;

c) open a bank account in the name of your new business (beware that many states are not opening accounts for out of state residents, you should open where is registered your business, you can access your account online from any place you are);

d) apply for Amazon affiliate.

If you register a LLC single, IRS is treating you as sole proprietor, you have to file only Schedule C, nothing more related to this part of your business. If 2 or more people, must file Form 1065.

Beware this is not a legal or tax advice, and I have no responsibility for your actions. You should ask for the necessary advice, every state is having local laws about it.
