It doesn't have to happen.

I don't do outragous claims or "secret techniques" yet i'm going to make a big bet i know 90% of the reasons your websites are not getting you traffic and have failed.

1) You've stopped promoting your website.

Linkbuilding is a slow, steady and natural process. If you want to hit big numbers you're going to have to spend each day gaining 1-2 dofollow links for a long time, years. That's not a joke, you want to be a big player? Make a living from home? Do it.

2) You've stopped looking for new keywords

Keyword research never stops, there's are tons of different ways to figure out people's searches. You sohuld have spreadsheets full of keywords and continually brainstorm new ideas and keywords linked to your niche which you can target.

3) You've stopped adding content

These sites will get a welcome revival from Google if you add more content.

Every website needs a plan of action and it doesn't happen over night, it's a continuous battle that will take months and even years to gain traffic in large amounts.

Review your keywords and content with google keyword tool to ensure you're targeting the right keywords, adjust is necessary.

There are always keywords you've overlooked. Go to your Google Analytics and look at the long tails you've received for new ideas.

Find some new content around these new keywords.
