I can give you an alternative suggestion here. While browsing through click bank market place, try to pick up some products related to the present time of the year.

I mean seasonal products in several niches.

That would makes sense to get some instant sales and high search engine rankings for your site.

There are lots of utility virtual products in click bank. They may be promoted as per the need of the hour.

    thanks.

I'd Suggest you take a look at some posts by Alexa Smith regarding this. She shares some great knowledge on the subject.

    Good luck!

cb snooper is ok but like anything else in this world you get what you pay for. The very fact that it is free says a lot about it.

Virtualconsultant offers some fantastic advice above, something I had forgotten. Thank you!

Just think logically. If you are after gardening niche as an example, think

What is the ideal time to clean up gardens?
When people would like to purchase an e-book some paste control tips?
What are the gardening activities people like to do in Spring?

Once you find out the ideal time for any niche, the work will be easy for you to pick up click bank products.

    Got my point?

    Regards.

As Josh said, check out Alexa Smith's CB product-selection checklist. Served me very well when I was getting started with Clickbank.

And for the record, these third-party CB sites are fairly useless. Any figures they give beyond what are available in the Clickbank marketplace are mere proprietary calculations and do not represent anything concrete. They have access to no more data than you or I. Better to just overlook them completely, in my opinion.

I would suggest that you first have a good picture of what you want to do. This means market research.

Usually, when you are absolutely sure what niche is for you, then the selection of products comes automatically.

Too many people hunt for the highest gravity products just because somebody sells a lot of them as a super affiliate. Well, that doesn't mean much to you.

You have to understand your audience first, understand it really, really well. Then you can try to offer them what they ask for. This is incredibly true to the IM niche.

But it also applies to other niches. You just cannot randomly pick the highest gravity products, and then hope for big sales. The money comes after you understand your audience, then give the products to them.

When I am looking for CB products to promote, here is what I do:

First I go to advanced search and search for items with gravity between 5-30. I see products with gravity of over 100 and immediately think something screwy is going on. Maybe I'm wrong, but if an advertiser is fudging those numbers purposely, I have no interest in partnering with them. Anything under 5 is probably not worth my time.

The commissions have to be worth my time. I will not spend the time to market a product where the commissions are under $15.

I look for products that I think I could sell. IM niche products I do not sell. I do not sell computer repair products nor reverse phone lookup products as the research I have done shows those markets are too hard to get into. If I think I can sell it, I go to the next step.

I go to the link. If the page is crappy with a wall of text and one buy now button all the way at the bottom with no price attached, I will not market that. I also do not market products where the sales page is a lone video. I wouldn't buy from such a site and I therefore cannot ask others to do so either. If the site looks cheap and amateurish, I will not promote it.

I absolutely refuse to promote any products where the website is loaded with popups when you close it. That is sleazy and really irritating to me. I do not want a website I put effort into to be associated with such practices. If a seller is that desperate for sales, I am not interested in sending them traffic.

If everything is good, I bookmark the site. Then I do keyword research to see if I could build a site to rank, and then send traffic. If I cannot find a good keyword, I eliminate the product. There are tons of good products you can rank for that you do not have to be desperate.

The most important thing is to do the research. Building sites and generating traffic is the easy part. Finding the right product and the right keywords is the hard part.

Simple way is to read through the sales page and go from there. Also contact product owner and see if responsive.
