monetize a website (idea is only in the paper)

Iam new to internet marketing, so i need some advice.
Im going to make a website in portuguese with all newspapers and radios of the countries who speak portuguese.
how can i monetize it?
Im thinking add a adfly url of each (newspaper, radio) to monetize the clicks, i also think that i can use a banner of a affilliate like amazon who redirect the clicks to a page of amazon where the people can buy ebooks could be a great choice.
My question is, there are better ways to monetize a website of this nature?
I need help because is the first time i try to make a website and monetize it. I will make the website with the opensource cms joomla.
