Is Market Samurai the only one?

Hey guys,

I kinda like Market Samurai, but, I was wondering if that was the only software out there that did the keyword research, the SEO competition analysis, and the article finding. If it is not, how does it compare to the competition? And so, what are the prices like for the competition?

Thanks.

I'm no expert, but if there is another single piece of software that provides so much information I haven't found it.

I'm currently testing it through their 30DC offer. Coupled with a good keyword list, this program seems to do a really good job of analyzing the competition.

Jeremy I haven't found anything else that is able to do what Market Samurai does so easily... I've been using Samurai since it was released and absolutely love it, so haven't looked around for alternatives recently.

Google Adwords Tool + Google Searches + SEOQuake or other similar free plugin.

I don't know why people would waste money on Market Samurai. All it does is scrapes Google anyway.

      Correct.

But, Market Samurai does it all in one place.

The best single KW research tool bar none.

I agree LC - the convenience and ease of having all of that information presented together is what I love about Samurai.

Yes, you can get the info for no cost using the tried and true approach that ManAbout suggested...but I'll take convenience any day (especially at such a great price - personally I think they have underpriced MS...but maybe that's just me?).

Why? Because I value my TIME.

And, no it doesn't JUST scrape Google (though it DOES scrape Google).

There is enormous benefit to having ONE tool that gathers, organizes and assembles all of the data that MS does.

To call that a "waste" of money is remarkably ignorant of basic economy of scale.

Feel free to jump around 15 different tabs, downloading CSV's, importing into a custom Excel spreadsheet... and only then start trying to make sense of it all...

      Yeah, waste of money...

      Get a clue.

If I go through your websites, I will probably find that you are trying to sell MS somewhere with your affiliate link. Yeah, I know, getting newbies to spend money on stupid tools that they don't really need and are a waste of money is good for the "internet marketers" who feed off these poor guys who don't have a clue.

And you don't need 15 tabs. You only need two. One for Google Adwords tool and the other for SEOQuake+Google Search. Most of the times when using Market Samurai, people flip to Google search any way.

Waste of time and waste of money. But, as I said, selling crap for $150 to newbies is good for "internet marketing" gurus who couldn't set up their own succesful sites if their lives depended on it.

I am also using MS through the 30day challenge. And I must say that the ease of use of the product is good. I missed a critical step when doing my keyword research the other way.

I have not look into the price of it yet. But so far no complaints from me as yet.

    Grow up, No Name...

Your post, in addition to being bratty and severely poverty minded, is highly inaccurate. That's why I called you out on it.

Do you honestly think you're doing anyone any favors here by slinging mud at an application that many, many experienced marketers swear by?

People should take the advice of an anonymous monkey flinging poo over a team of very. very smart guys that make a fantastic tool that saves enormous amounts of time and effort? Errr...No.

Next, I don't believe Noble Samurai even HAS an affiliate program and if they do, I'm not in it (though I would join in a heartbeat).

By the way, nice strawman you've erected to knock down... Making money takes time, tools and resources. All of which cost... wait for it... MONEY.

Presumably, the reason you market whatever it is you do is to make money as well. So, drop the pretentious bullshit "man of the people" act. You're in a forum full of MARKETERS who buy and sell stuff in hopes of selling stuff to others.

Those of us who've been doing this for more than 30 days like you have see right through your nonsense.

Waste of words... I'm sure you'll just continue to argue and cry about the evil "gurus" out to screw you with their $150 software schemes.

    Whatever...
