Clickbank or DigiResults??....

Hey Guys,

Need your advice on something. I'm getting ready to launch a product and I was gonna fire an affiliate program up with trusty old Clickbank (used them before - never had any problems)

But I've been told to check out DigiResults as an alternative. Benefit over CB is that commissions are lodged immediately into Paypal so I'm sure that would make affiliates happy...

I don't know too much about them. Have any of you any experience with or who would you advise me to go with?

All your thoughts/advice is appreciated

Thanks - Noel.

You should launch with JVZoo, its like DigiResults but better. I guarantee it will do everything you need & then more - plus its 100% free

They let you launch a product for free, in exchange for 5% of each sale. OR you can pay 17 bux (one time fee) and they wont take anything from each sale. Its up to you.

You can create an affiliate program (that also pays instant commission if you want it to)

You can integrate it with your autoresponder.

You can set up JV's or dime-sales.

You can create an 'instant' sales page, or you can host it elsewhere (like a WSO or classified)

& a ton of more features that I cant think of. lol

Heres my referral link for them. OR if you dont want to use my link, their site is www.JVZoo.com

I personally would stick with Clickbank because it has way more affiliates than any other program. It will be better for your affiliate recruiting over the long term.

I'm not familiar with Digiresults so I can't really comment on that. However, it seems to me that most people (both affiliates and vendors) don't mind the waiting period involved in receiving funds from CB.

Well, I hear good things about DigiResults, so it's a viable option.

However a couple of big pluses with Clickbank:

    (1) Bigger and more established, better known to affiliates, and their marketplace is more organised. (Potentially, more affiliates will discover your product there).

    (2) Customers of Clickbank aren't at the vendor's mercy in regard to refunds (good for them), whereas at DigiResults "vendors have total control over refunds". As a CB vendor you have no real choice but to offer a no-quibbles 60-day guarantee, advertise as much on your sales page, and uphold that promise: if a refund's requested, it'll be granted. While perhaps not superficially attractive to many vendors with other wishes/ideas, realistically, in most cases and on many levels, I think it's beneficial all around. In the end, unless there's a great discrepancy between what is promised and delivered or your product flat-out stinks, refund-rates are determined mostly by affiliates' pre-selling techniques. Better to have unscrupulously sold products independently refunded before you find yourself in the middle of a great kerfuffle (which you might, from time to time, perhaps more often than you'd think, even with the best, most honest of intentions)?

I would go with Clickbank. Their affiliate database is so large, and the affiliates on there really know how to market your product for you.

Thanks a million for all the replies guys - looks like they all have their benefits!

Clickbank - JV Zoo - DigiResults : I gonna take everything you've shared on board and then research the 3 of them, pro's and con's and make the decision.

Thanks again for the help, much appreciated And if anybody has any thoughts on the matter I'd be happy to hear those too.... Noel.

I don't think there is anything stopping you using more than one Affiliate network.

ClickBank is certainly the biggest but if you can add to JVZoo for no money then you may as well try it as well.

Ya, that's true... CB is so huge I know a lot of people automatically flock there when in search of their next promotion. Of course it doesn't matter how many eyeballs your product gets if it's not up to scratch....

I like the idea of leveraging all 3 of them and getting the benefits of each. Never thought of going with more than one before (not sure why now?)

      Cheers all for your help

If you are looking for the most affiliates nothing even comes close to Clickbank. Clickbank is on it's whole own level in terms of amounts of affiliates. 90 percent or more of the affiliates don't know what they are doing and are worthless though.

I have several successful products on Clickbank.

I just listed my first product on Digiresults and let me tell you I'm highly considering switching all of my products to Digiresults.

Here are the 4 HUGE reasons.

        1. Product Approval! I have dozens of Clickbank products. I set up a new Clickbank account (which cost money) for every new product. I am sick of the product approval process and Clickbanks ever increasing regulations.
        2. Instant Payments! Wow it's so much nicer then Clickbank.
        3. Affiliate Relationships! You can actually contact your affiliates and have the relationships with them. I would rather have 10 affiliates I could have a relationship with, than 100 Clickbank affiliates. This is so important.
        4. Lower Refund Rates! Much lower refund rates, Clickbank really screws you on the refunds. I always thought it, but now that I'm using Digiresults I'm starting to know it.

Thanks for the kind words guy and girls.

Don't choose. List on all 3.

DigiResults network bridging technology allows you to have affiliates promote on DR, CB and JZ and we make sure the right affiliate gets paid every time.

If you'd like to know more please don't turn this into a sales thread on the main forum. PM me and I'll arrange for someone from DR to talk/walk you through it.

    Cheers,

    Andy

It may be worth it to check it out, but personally I would probably end up sticking with Clickbank. I've always had a great experience with them.
