I read some thread few months ago from another forum that one guy made niche site, boosted it in google a bit to get it in the first of google.

The clickbank site was online 3 months and made him 100$ per/month, BUT he also made additional sales by himself.

1 month: 100$ + 200$ (made by himself)
2 month: 100$ + 150$ (made by himself)
3 month: 100$ + 200$ (made by himself)

and after 3 months he sold this website for 3000$ on flippa.
What do you think about that? How to avoid this kind of ppl?

      Not rly.

If the commission was 70% then he only spent 60$ per month for boosting the "revenue". He would have got this site sold for 1000$ , now he got it sold for $3000. So basically he got 2000-180=1820$ profit for this.

You avoid this by insisting on real financial earnings (tax records) that can be verified by an accountant.

  • There will be always someone scamming people with fake sales and fakes affiliate and CPA income. The best thing to do is to check the Google Analytics report to check the number of visits and clicks inside the website, or asking video recording of Clickbank, Amazon Associates and Adsense earnings during their access.

It's very difficult to buy great businesses, because for my opinion, until a website produces income, the owner will keep it.

    Thanks and see you soon,

You really do need to know how to take a site to the next level if you buy
these types of sites... You can't really just buy it with the intention of sitting
back and letting it bring you that income in recurring each month..

These sites have normally been marketed just to produce these results so
they can be sold over inflated... Nature of the beast unfortunately...

There will always be scammers in on every site online. The more sophisticated someones research is the more sophisticated the scammers will get. Its hard to catch them all.

I'm confused. What does the thread title 'Fake Clickbank Sales' have to do with this?

I believe the OP meant that someone sold their website on Flippa, where Clickbank was the main source of that site's revenue. But the site's seller purchased the CB product(s) himself (possibly under aliases) to show that his CB revenues from that site were higher than they actually were.
