:rolleyes:Aloha! question about email list marketeing, i have been using safeswap and bought solos for a specific niche, my list is now just above 300 mark. my question is is it not a good idea to send things from diffrent niches? another question is when your sending say like free info ect, is it with the plan of building it to sale a product related to the free info sent previously? im asking cuz ive run into a ton of cool things, some related to my niche and others about completely diffrent things (which are valuable) that id like to send but scared it may confuse them?..does anyone just send out random things (that are cool and valuable) is it a problem or is there a orderly scheme to these things?
lastly its been just over a month since i hit the 300 mark and i havent sent anything! i know that can be bad...if it is any advice about this? thanks all any thoughts would be appreciated. mahalo!!!!

    Concentrate on the interest that made them sign up on your list, and you'll keep your unsubscribes low. It is not always a good idea to send messages on widely different niches to your subscribers.

    Yes, the paid product you promote should be something related to the free product they signed up for.

    Of course you could send them a survey asking them what they would like to be getting from you. That saves you a lot of headache.

    The best thing you can do is deliver valuable free related info as well as over deliver with any paid product. You really do not want to send out unrelated offers or info. Targeted traffic is targeted for a reason. If you shoot out random offers your cancellation rate will dramatically go up.

    Make sure you always send message related to your niche because if you dont do , many people on your list are going to report it as spam and if your spam rate goes above threshold of your ESP they might cancel your account. This has happened in past.

    So these 300 people have been on your list and you've not contacted them yet - what are you waiting for?

    The 2 things you need to make money from a list is a relationship and awesome content.

    If you mail once a month with a free report from safeswap that doesn't relate to the first report they downloaded then you won't even get 10 clicks. Building a list is the easy part, creating the relationship is where it gets difficult.

    Do you have a blog? It's a great way to share your thoughts and find out if people have the same idea's and beliefs. When this happens and you find a great WSO or new product you're able to get an affiliate link and tell your list about it.

    When you're sending such personal recommendations to people who know, like, and trust you then conversions increase.

    You should only send related products so you won't confuse them. You don't want them to think that you just want them to buy all your products - that will lead them to unsubscribe to your list.

    Always send related information and offers to your list. You might have many interests
    and find many stuff cool, as you said, but how do you know that people on your list will
    be interested in it? One thing you know they are interested in is the thing they opted-in
    for. Also, you can't be the jack of all trades guy, but always focus on one niche, the
    more focused the better.

  • Its good to experiment but difficult to build a reputation among your readers. Your mailing list needs to be targeted, otherwise readers will get annoyed if they won't get what they are expecting. Make your readers happy & deliver the right thing to the right person.

    • Open Rate
    • Delivery Rate
    • Click-Through Rate
