It doesn't matter how 'saturated' you think something is, you can still sell it with some hard work.

Don't worry about, if that's the product you wanna' promote then by all means promote it.

It's not oversaturated. It just means everyone and their mom is doing SEO for it.

Try other things like article syndication, writing press releases, using paid traffic, etc.

It's not the product that's saturated, is it? It's (maybe) the SEO-competition for the specific keywords you're looking at.

    There are other ways.

    Other keywords.

And other, non-SEO forms of traffic altogether (those are usually better quality, too).

And you need to have a look at the SEO quality of the top 5(ish) listings for those keywords anyway. However many pages of them there are, if they're all ClickBank affiliates, it's easily possible that their SEO is of the "home-made with SENuke/Xrumer/"bot"/bought-on-Fiverr/forum-profile/article-directory" kind of "mass cr@plink", in which case any reasonable number of relevant, quality links may overtake them all within a week or two anyway.

SEO is the least effective and actually a rather wimpy way to promote CB products, IMNSHO. A couple of promotions to a well-managed subscriber list can blast the competition out of the water no matter what the competition may be or how other sites rank.

There are 6.8 billion people in the world. We have yet to see a saturated product or network. Even Facebook is no where close to their potential.

Some excellent advice here. It is easy to think that a product or a service is saturated,
or that there are many people doing something so you can't make it, why would
    anyone buy from you etc.

Almost all the people have a TV or a cell phone. But does that mean that TV or cell
phone industry is dead, and that they can't sell their products. Just the contrary, new
people are coming every day, and the existing people are always looking for something
    better. Hope that makes sense

Also, it is not that hard to become a doctor or a lawyer or an internet marketer and
there are quite many of them. What's hard is to be good at it. Be better than others
in your field and you will have more clients and be much more successful.

No product is ever saturated as long as you understand the basic dynamics of marketing and how to effectively pre-sell it. Without that you can do everything else and you'd still make no progress.

yeah I never promote a cb product with a gravity BELOW 100 if it has a low gravity that means other affiliates aren't promoting it and there is a reason for it that ... Competition is a good thing

There is actually no indicator of how how many affiliates are trying to promote a product. Lower gravity simply indicates fewer affiliates are able to sell it. All of my hottest-selling affiliate products are under a gravity of 6.
