How many hits is a good test?

I was wondering what the general consensus is of how many hits is a good test for conversions on a squeeze page? I know the more the better but is there a minimum you look for? 50-100? 500? 1000? More than that?

Thanks!

300-500 should show you some decent conversion results.

Obviously the more the better. A few hundred should already give you a good idea.

The answer also depends on how your going to test. Multi-variable can require quite a bit more traffic depending on how many variables.

Course split testing is the most common, quickest and lowest traffic requirement.

The bare minimum should be 100, but probably closer to 500 or more IMO.

I would say 300 to 500 is usually when I determine if something is very wrong or if it is worth doing a full blown campaign.
