Hey warriors

I have a youtube channel with over 50 videos. Would it be wise to add a link to one of my affiliate sites in the description? Do you think this would cause a boost in the SERP's even though the videos have nothing to do with the site.

Has anyone done this before with positive results?

I sure would. Just use a bio-format: Ray lives in xxx, has a dog, three cats, and a goldfish, and blogs all day at www.Raysite.com.

    nothing wrong with that.

Whether it would cause a boost in the Serps questionable but if your videos get any views at all it is very likely that you'll get visitors through a link.

      Thanks for the replies.

Well, the channel is actually my brothers and the videos get very little views. I would only put the time into adding the link into all the descriptions if it would help me in the SERP's
