Referrals from niche website

I recently recreated a small niche website with the intention to make money with Adsense. Well the site has been on FIRE since I launched it and now I feel that I could profit more than with just Adsense.

I know that there is a market around this niche and businesses are willing to advertise on the site, but I want to make the maximum profits.

The site gets 30 - 40 unique visitors a day, highest day was 50!

What do you think I should do? Should I contact a few of the businesses and show them the results, or should I try and set up a referral system?

I would prefer a referral systems because I feel I can earn more that way.

    HI,

    My suggestions:

    1. Keep working on traffic. You have a lot more you can do.

    2. Look into CPA (cost per action) ads.

    3. Lastly, if you want to work with Affiliates, first make the whole business model lucrative for yourself. Then you can expand with affiliates.

    I think you have a lot more work to do before looking into expanding. Focus on quality traffic. Lastly, making referral sales with one niche site will be tough.

    Thank you for your reply.

    I think the website has reached its maximum in terms of traffic, and now it is my job to profit as much as I can from the traffic.

    The website is not .com and that is a limiting factor. It is a regional/ national domain such as .co.uk.

    Oscar D, your pool maintenance site is a good example of a niche site using adsense. I'm guessing your ads get a a lot of clicks because they're well positioned, and the colours are right for the site design.

    Ha ha, I wish - it is the total opposite.

    The site has a page rank of one and it has been live for 6 months, but I have not even made $1 yet. I only get 2 - 3 visitors a day.

    I really do not know whats wrong with this site.
