Please give me an idea to start?

Just give an example of a product from Amazon for affiliate marketing. I am stuck in keyword research. Both Frustrated and furious.

It seems I am very close to quit, but don't want to.

There are about a million products. Just think about what people actually would want to buy and then look for a likely product. For example, if you think people might want to avoid paying for cable, you might want to promote Roku boxes...

Kitchen gadgets: bread machines, or maybe the vitamix blender. Good commissions, goof niches, not going to disappear anytime soon.

I sell remote control helicopters through Amazon.

It is just an example of the many million niches you can get into

You should not quit just for the fact that you are stuck. It is part and parcel of the process.

There are lots of keywords and niches to build your sites promoting Amazon or Click bank products.

What exactly the problems that you are facing? Are you undecided about the product niche?

      Thanks.

I am personally more of a fan of clickbank. Cbengine.com is excellent for sorting through everything

  • 1. For this sample, let's use technology > electronics and computers > digital gadgets for our industry > niche > micro niche. I chose this sample set because a lot of people are searching online for tech news and articles about the latest electronics, computer tools and digital gadgets. Most of these people also prefer to purchase these electronic goods, computer tools and digital gadgets once they have read related tech news from popular media sources and have gained a more informed buying decision upon reading onsite content from authors whom they think are friendly expert resources of unbiased, informative content offering related benefits not found elsewhere...

    2. Go to popular content sources of technology news and articles about electronics and computers, such as online news media outlets and tech magazines. Take note of the keywords/keyphrases targeted by those pages offering latest tech news and articles about electronics and computers. Use this in the Google Adwords Keyword Tool to find exact match keywords/keyphrases with good local search volume (US), low competition, good global search volume and mid-range CPC rates. Use these non-copyrighted, non-trademarked exact match keywords/keyphrases to find a well-aged expired closeout exact match domain name with existing active backlinks in contextually relevant sites as well as a homepage with valid Google PR (if you intend to sell your site in the future, since a lot of buyers still look at Google PR as an important factor when buying sites). Register that expired closeout domain and set up a Wordpress site under it...

    3. Go to Amazon. Look for relevant products under technology > electronics and computers > digital gadgets departments. Select ten to fifteen products that cost say no less than $500, have no less than 8 buyer reviews of which no less than 8 are positive reviews, and have no less than a 3-star rating. Take note of the tags targeted by these product pages, the specific name and model of the products and keywords/keyphrases used by buyers when they wrote their reviews. Use these keywords/keyphrases in Google. Go to the top page results under community sites slanted towards topics under technology > electronics and computers > digital gadgets, such as Web forums and social network groups. Take note of the keywords/keyphrases targeted by those pages and the keywords/keyphrases mentioned by people who participated in those pages...

    4. Use these keywords/keyphrases in the Google Adwords Keyword Tool to find exact match keywords/keyphrases with good local search volume (US), low competition, good global search volume and mid-range CPC rates. Select five exact match keywords/keyphrases that are specific names and models of related products and ten exact match keywords/keyphrases without specific names and models of related products though are still relevant to the digital gadget micro niche. Use your exact match keyword/keyphrase selections to select five relevant Amazon products from your previous list of Amazon products as mentioned in number 3 above...

    5. Use the exact keyword/keyphrase that is the specific name and model of the Amazon product along with two non-specific exact match keywords/keyphrases as the target keywords of your product review post. Since you have five Amazon products, you have five product review posts. Publish these posts on your site...

    6. Write how to, guide and tutorial articles. One article should target two non-specific exact match keywords. Since you have ten non-specific exact match keywords/keyphrases, you have five articles. Post them on your site...

I'll let you use your own methods in optimizing conversions, SE optimizing your content as well as driving traffic to your site and populating your mailing list with buyer traffic, because this requires long talks about different strategies, techniques, tactics and ideas from equally different tests and results. Hope this helps...

What products do you own that you would recommend to a friend?

That is always a good place to start.

Hey Man! I've spent hours wandering the same thing tbh.

I saw a pretty good tutorial the other day recomending you check out the top 100 most popular books at amazon.com (non fiction obviously) for an idea of niches currently massively popular online...

You could then validate this against the list of published books at the "books for dummies" website

This should help to provide a list of niches and particular sub niches??? Thoughts guys?

there are thousands of hidden niches
my friend recently started 3 websites for just 1 niche "Solar Garden Lights"
he outsourced everything from site designs, content, submissions, link building, social marketing etc. he spent almost £5000 on it
he started in early december 11
until today, he has made more £8000 from his 3 sites and everyday the revenue is growing,
i think you need to just look for some hidden gems and it will work

People either want to experience pleasure or avoid pain. Think from that line of thinking. Then you'll have a good idea of what to promote.

I just googled marketing, niche, start....One of the articles was talking about 156 items, named 157 articles, and said, "There you have it...155 items." It struck me as funny.

The point is there are tons of niches. If you can't think of them, Google can!
